can LPNs access med port?

Can LPNs access med port, or is it depends on the facility? I know some facilities allow LPNs to start IVs, so I'm wondering if this is the same type of thing.

I believe it depends upon the facility, my advice would be speak to inservice director or adon about this , dont take chances your a new grad and nurses tend to eat their young why I dont know maybe because raging hormones who knows
