Re: Anyone go to MCC and take the HESI
Since they are just going by prereq grades I would start by taking the easiest prereqs first like psych and nutrition. They are super easy and will get you back into the swing of classes so you can do well in the others. Then you only need one more for the 12 credits. As long as you do well on the HESI you don't need a perfect 4.0. I didn't have one and got in. I'm glad they are going by prereqs though, competing with people who took 12 credits of gym and art was unfair!
The study guide is helpful but the test is pretty easy and I was kinda mad to spend the money on it. Do you have an email that has a large capacity such as gmail? I can try to email you the study guide. I know I have the hard copy around here somewhere but I'm moving next week so that's not a sure thing.
Other than that I would say be confident and go for it. I was away from schoolfor longer than you, and although it's been a lot of work, it is worth it.
