I started an online "wellness" course last week and dropped it after opening the second week's packet. It had an insane amount of coursework to complete for the week (at least according to my experience in three other online classes it was insane!) there was no participation from fellow classmates (which impacts my ability to get my discussion points) and the professor wasn't around like he should have been. I am not sure whether to try and take the "wellness: lifestyle choices" class on campus instead and try to avoid the professor who's online class is awful, or try to take the prevention, intervention and treatment class on campus, which would get me my cpr certification I will hopefully be needing if I get a good letter this week. One class is two credits, the other is three and is four hours twice a week, which is a lot. It's only six weeks, though. Does anyone have any experience with these two classes and the professors that teach them? The reviews for the professor that I just dropped were not great, but I had no idea that his classwork was actually developed by another professor, one with horrible reviews (I can totally see why!). I should have asked this question a week ago, but I didn't know I'd be so disappointed in the class I had signed up for and end up dropping it yesterday.
