Lighten up people I thought the comment was hilarious even if it is a serious question. Only thing regarding gender that I do try to do is look for a female to do my young lady caths...if one not available I have a chap at the bedside. We tend to trade tasks to match gender in the ED. I have never given up a code brown though...unless it was to a tech that was sitting on their behind :-)

I love this question. All of us clean poop differently but equally as much!!! Haha.

everybody will clean poop. Men are no exemption and when we gotta do the dirty work we gotta do the dirty work. But keep in mind in the end, your patient is clean and theyll thank you a lot for it.
