Do you believe that people expect you to become a nurse manager because of your gender?Tried to get a job as a manger once, lost out to a black female who threatened to sue them over the "race card". Took 3 times applying for supervisor(first time lost to a friend whose mom was in management at out facility, second time legitimately to a more qualified person, third time was the charm-it was time to apply all my my aquired knowledge and skill into this), have no desire to be anything other than a supervisor(no manager or director etc).
