I have been told I will take a charge nurse position when I graduate in a few months....I don't think it's related to my gender.

Not really, I have had a few patient's request not to have a male nurse, but other than that I have not had any real discrimination. Most patients, male and female, are happy to have a male nurse.

Above, it taught me to respect people's cultures and beliefs.
