New to Nursing

I've decided to go with my long time dream of getting into the medical work force. I'm starting a CNA cert. course in a week and looking for advice from other men in the field. What to expect, how you're treated things like that. What do I need to really focus on (I know the course will tell me one thing, but the real work is another). My dream would be to work trauma one day here in PA. Thank for all your advice...

welcome to the brotherhood , we need more footsoldiers in the field

actually men get treated pretty well, at least from my experience. just respect your peers and you will get treated the same in return. nursing welcomes more men into the field

practice practice practice, and if you have any male professors or preceptors have a chit chat with them to gain an insight
