I'm a nosy girl that was a little tired of reading all the sentimental stories about how an angels and teddy bears. I would not survive the nursing field without my male co-workers. I so expected a thread like this... and yes go with the long undershirt. PS never go sans undershirt with a hairy chest and a gold cross chain necklace. just don't.

I say revel in the crack...It is what seperates us from the women in out field. they never show crack so lets us show it and show it proudly. I have never met a plumber that was ashamed of the crack...

I don't know about that. I have seen lots of nurses that bend over doing tasks and lets just say that their Vickies are no longer a secret........... Along with that there is an occasional crack; perhaps their Dad was a plumber and they inherited it????

That's great that you care...most guys who are big enough to have this problem don't give a rip...I'd recommend the Aviatorscrubs.com scrubs they have both elastic and a strap to tighten them.

I agree with the earlier suggestion of tall t-shirts. They are just longer, not larger. I'm 6'2" and 200 lb and found that regardless of the type of pant, they slip, but the tall t-shirts have solved that problem for me.

Do you know anyone with a sewing machine who could nip the waists for you?

I have a long torso and have a problem with certain brands with too low a rise even if they are not supposed to be low rise. The fronts often come up over my navel with the backs at the coccyx.

Cherokee Workwear cargo pants are high enough. www.marcusuniforms.com

Always make sure you wear underwear, lol. Know someone who lost a lot of weight. Pants don't fit as they should, and his pants are always falling down at the most conspicuous times.
