Male Nurse Scrubs

Nurses Men

For all you male nurses out there, I was wondering if any of you wear your scrubs tucked in? Personally I think it looks professional. I really haven't seen many male nurses that wear their scrubs tucked in. The only area I have really seen wear nurses tuck-in their scrubs is the O.R.

Its rare, the only time I saw a male nurse tuck in his scrub top was one who wore shorts with it.

I have seen guys tuck in scrubs before...but how "professional" looking are scrubs really? I mean you have bodily fluids on you at times, stains for patients blood maybe. If you want to tuck them in, elastic waist band is probably better than a drawstring.

I have never seen anyone with their scrubs tucked in.

I saw a guy with a beer belly with his scrubs tucked in tight last week... not what I'd call a great look!

I don't know why males r afraid to be called Nurse..lol kinda funny but hey its pretty cool to me..I worked with only 4 males Nurse and they are pretty cool lol....they Love to Introduce themselves as Nurse..:)

When I had to wear scrub tops as a paramedic in a clinic I tucked my scrub tops in, but only because I wore EMS pants (cargo style pants) and thought it looked better that way.

Now that I wear scrub tops and bottoms, I do not tuck them in, but then again I have the 3 pocket scrubs, so those would look funny tucked in.

I worked in the OR for 3 years for a major hospital and most of us never tucked our scrubs in. Only a very few of the older staff members tucked their scrubs in. Also worked in PACU and endoscopy in different hospitals...same thing there

I wear hospital issue scrubs from the OR to work in the ICU. The scrub tops we get tend to be long so I do wear them tucked in. If I didn't the seam would be hanging midway between my waist and my knees. I don't know if it looks professional but these scrubs are worn by residents, fellows, OR nurses, NP's, PA's and most males do tuck the top in. The male RN's wear store bought scrubs that are well fitted and look great tucked out.

:poop: That's messed up

Definitely scrubs gives a professional look; in every hospital or medical care center we have found the use of scrubs which helps to recognize the health care professional very easily. Personally we detect a health care professional from his or her dress code and scrubs is specially design for medical professionals.

Whatchoo mean "we"? Looks like it was lifted. As a student you should be aware that cutting/pasting someone else's work without a citation is plagiarism.

And I disagree that scrubs give a professional look. These days so many people wear scrubs that it really doesn't tell you anything.
