Hi from Missouri! I'll be moving to Aiken after I complete my PN courses. How are things in that area? I am more interested in working in the LTC facilities than in hospitals; are there quite a bit to choose from? And if you could give me an idea of a payscale, I'd appreciate it! I've checked all the salary range website, but hearing it straight from another LPN in the area would make me feel more relaxed. Thanks

Hi jamangel I spoke to you a while back about moving to augusta. I just bought a home in evans and I am looking to move by the end of the year. I just applied to georgia board of nursing to get a license endorsement since I am only licensed in NY. I would like to know which hospitals to appply too that are well structured , nurse friendly and have computerized charting. I would be most likely be apllying to a telemetry floor or stepdown unit since that is my background. If you have any info about pay and benefits abouth the hospitals that would be lovely.I have 3yrs telemetry, 1yr cardiac stepdown experience, AAS RN degree. Thank you very much for any info.
