Hi! Sending you a friendly "hello" back to you. (You sent me one earlier in June.)

Amy's "Spa Job" is now Per Diem. They layed off a LOT of employees due to the sour economy. So, rather than risk getting laid off herself, she took a position as an O.R. nurse at St. Peter's Hospital located in Albany, NY. So far, she loves it there.

I'm still working at Fairview Hospital. Will be there for 10 years this coming October! That's a long time for me!

Regarding the Cheese Cake Factory! One of my favorite restaurants!! There's one located near Albany, NY where we go to every once in a while. We're going there this coming Wednesday, as a matter of fact, to celebrate Amy's Niece's birthday! Should be fun!

Hope all is well with you. It would be nice to keep in touch even if it was the occasional email or PM via allnurses.com

Well. . . take care. . . keep in touch!

    Ted (and Amy) Fiebke

So glad to hear the little squirt is doing well. Sounds like he'll be fine. Kittens are incredibly tough in some ways, for as fragile as they can be in other ways. I dropped a newborn once from chest height down - he was fine. I also had a mama one time who was not happy w/ her accommodations, and had the kitten in her mouth, beating it against the door of the cage she was in. It was fine too. I've stepped on many cats - Burmese are too stubborn to get out of the dang way, lol.

You are doing great with Wallee - it takes a special person to raise babies. It's a lot of work and worry that people don't know about. If I can figure out how to send it, I'll send you a poem. It's about breeding cats, but it applies equally to rescue.

Give Wallee a cuddle from me and my current lap fungus, Dale.

Well, I am not sure which thread that is contained in exactly....but I do believe that I did indicate that I lived in Colorado Springs at the time.

I am an AF brat (father is a retired COL) and ex-USAF officer myself Stationed at PETERSON AFB, CO and FALCON AFB, CO (which has sinced been renamed).

Just because I don't have to deal with that now, doesn't mean that I haven't in my past. Want pictures?
