Hi Elizabells, I am a current student at UCSC. Thinking about applying to the Bsn-Msn program. I recently read a thread in which you were discussing tuition to Columbia being at 57k a year for three years. My question to you is how do you plan to pay these loans back after. I am very interested in Columbia and NYU and think I would be a competative candidate for either program, but I'm scared to death of that kind of debt. Do you plan on doing loan forgiveness and have you looked into what your monthly payment on a loan like that would be? I've been doing lots of research and what I'm realizing is you pay less at state schools but it takes longer where as private schools get you there quicker (and some have great reputations) but are more expensive. Just trying to get some feed back from someone who did the private school track to see if they think it is worth it. Thanks for your time! ~Amy
My name is Megan -- I noticed that you are very active on here and you go to COLUMBIA! It is my top choice program and I have some questions about how competitive it is. I am also flipping my sh*&^ because I got a B- in A&P.
I applied for the neonatal ETP program. My GRE scores just met their required scores. I graduated in 2005 with a 2.9 GPA but I have since returned to school at Hunter College for my prerequisites with a 3.5 GPA.
Do you know if that is much much lower than what they let in?
I would LOVE to hear more about the program if you have the time! I am dying to get in!!!!
