Hi Kay, Just read your journal and see you have moved! Wishing you every happiness in your new locale. It sounds very nice there in Ohio. So glad for you all that you're near family. There's nothing quite like family! Hope your hubby soon finds a suitable job. Fingers crossed for him. Cheers from Down Under!

I guess he and the wife liked it fine. Of course they both grew up in the Pacific Northwest. They also had done time in the Air Force and were stationed in North Dakota (I think; or maybe SD) so they had spent time in colder climates before. I think when they moved they were worried more about adapting to his job change than the change in weather. (He had been at the same employer for nearly 20 years I think) Plus, they kept their house in Phx and plan to eventually retire to there.

Hi, my name is Alja and right now I am getting my pre-requisites for the accelerated nursing programm; however, I would love to become a midwife eventually. Do you think that you would be able to give some gude lines as far as how soon I can get into the program (after completing this one) and if I can start doing something now or while I will be attending the accelarated nursing programm which will last 12 months. Any feedback/guidance will be greatly appreciated.

Looking forward to hear from you, take care.
