    I Ran To The Can
Hello! I read a recent post that your hospice inpatient facility nursing ratio is 1 rn to 4-5 patients. How is your hospice facility able to come to this ratio? Do they use acuity? State regulations? I work at a hospice with 10 beds and all of them can be filled at once for one RN. If a patient is on routine home care in the inpatient, they are considered half a patient...which seems unethical, but I don't get paid administrator salary to know how they justify that. Any feedback greatly appreciated! You can e-mail me at starrrsixtynine at gmail dot com
