Don't know if you read my thread. My surgery date is May 26. I lost 9.5 lbs and I need to lost about 6 more. I'm hoping to lose a bit more than that before the final weigh in on May 20.

I promise I will let you know how it goes.

I have another appointment in two weeks. The nurse coordinator said that even if I don't lose all the weight by the next appointment, which is in two weeks, is fine as long as I have kept a diet/exercise diary and have lost some of the weight. I can lose the rest of the weight before surgery. I'll be off work for about 4 weeks although he said I could go back in a week but the doc thinks its better to take the full month so I can get adjusted to my stomach being smaller and focus on my intake for the first month. As long as everything goes as planned, I'll be in surgery by May. Thanks for the support, Leslie.

Hi Leslie,
I went for my surgical consult today. It went well. The doc was nice, weird sense of humor but was informative. Thinks the RNY has the best results and I told him thats what I want. I have to lose 15 lbs before I even get my surgical date and if all goes well, I will have my surgery in April or May.

Just checking in with my girl from Boston. I'm tempted to be a little sappy, but please know I think you are the coolest.
We'll always have clogging.

Les - we went to see the puppies today. oh my gosh - a box full of 7 puppies heals the heart. There were three black and tan, like Marlo (2 boys, 1 girl), 3 Brindles and one blonde. We picked out a male black/tan for her (Ziggy) and a female black/tan for us :-) . . and Lucy is a good idea. steph
