I was just checking my messages and saw you asked my time frame for studying. I started reading through the guide (a little) before I got my date on Jan 6. When I got the date for Feb 6 I put myself into high gear (or crazy mode). I became obsessed, really! I studied HARD for the entire month. I am one of those people who has have a deadline before the motivation sets in. I carried flash cards with mnemonics on them everywhere, even the BR. I practiced my charting at work when I had time., had to chart anyway,so just did it the EC way-no abbreviations, really wordy stuff(the way it should be done if you had the time). I used Rob's CPNE and it was invaluable. The only other suggestion I have is to really practice the labs. That is what almost failed me! You can't imagine how nervous you are. I forgot to aspirate on the IVP. I even had the steps written out and was so nervous did not look at it. To me the PCS was fairly easy. If you need any help, just ask. Good luck to you Terri
