I'm actually living in Austin, but it seems more and more of my time is hovering around San Antonio right now. I just wish there was more climbing down there, or at least a climbing gym! The one they had closed a few years ago Where are you at right now?

Yes DolceVita, i was born in the Netherlands to American parents, giving me dual citizenship. I was educated there, came to the states when i was 22. I was a IT systems analyst for 24 years, until 9/11 (worked in the towers). Went back and got my RN, BSN in an accelerated program, and i had a Bio degree, and was fortunate to have the credits accepted. I dont know about Scrabble... but but if ever in South Florida, lets play

Hi there DolceVita. Thanks for the PM. I'm not sure if I should have come here to "your" page to reply or if I should have done it on mine. Neophyte here. :-) I read one of your posts about wanting to work as a PCT. Has that worked out for you? That was my idea too (want to be an ER nurse), and I recently got my EMT-B license. Don't work as one though and don't really want to, but would love to be a PCT in an ER. I might try to get a job as one once I actually start NS (this fall--finally!), though in this economic climate I'm not holding my breath.
