Yeah thats is what it thought- only 2 things the supplement application plus verification. do you actually need a supplementary letter for volunteering? all I have is like my hours on kaiser stationery paper.

do you happen to know how sfsu breaks down the points? what if you do not have any of the supplementary stuff like 0 out of 3 - you still can apply right because it isn't a requirement.

yes, so inside the manila envelope, your nursing application should be there both dated and signed with your supplemental letters from your volunteer/work places. send in your official transcripts now to SFSU ASAP. then send another round of transcripts after the fall semester is over, but before februrary. they need transcripts to give you your SFSU report and ID number.

yea, I sent 2 things to the nursing school, the application and the supplemental letters. My CSUmentor application was online, SFSU should have it already. I think that's what I was supposed to do, but who knows. I don't think we need to send in our CSUmentor application to the SFSU school of nursing because CSUmentor is for SFSU admissions.

Actually, I was lucky for SFSU, because I used to be a student there. So i was able to apply again as a transfer with the same SFSU ID number. that let me apply faster to the nursing school. So my experience there allowed me to know how their system and processes there work. SFSU is not a great school over all if you're looking for fun, but it has a nice nursing school that is just ridiculously hard to get into. SFSU is my 3rd choice after humboldt state. the nursing instuctors are great at SFSU, they relaly make you learn and work hard. there are also some instuctors that are expectional too.
By the way, my name is Mike, and I'm from Gilroy.

ok, so you'll recieve an ID sometime soon, hopefully before Nov.30th. For IP courses, just put the course down as IP on the grade boxes. I have 2 IP courses this semester (physio and anatomy) so I put both as Fall 09 and IP. for labs combined, I put both the lecture and lab grade, so for Microbio, I put both A/A on both boxes. the units are still total of the course units so it doesn't change the GPA value. Send the application in a manila envelope with your supplementary letters to the School of Nursing. Send your transcripts to the SFSU admissions office. I sent all mine Oct. 5th and I still have no word from them yet.

Good luck with CSUEB. I can't apply there since I ahven't taken an org chem course. good luck with Sac State. I know that school is a killer to get in. CSUB is the farthest south i'll go, just because I LOVE their fast curriculum.

hey Brighten, what are all the schools you are applying to and which ones do you really want to go to? I want to compare and discover some schools with you, if i don't know some already. Anyways, I've been looking at SFSU since junior year of high school. That's why I've worked hard since then to try to get in SFSU, but as you know, life changes and so do people, so now I can care much more less about SFSU than I did before. Are you a transfer student? I heard too that SFSU looks at males as well, but I'm not so sure. I even prefer HSU than SFSU anytime.
Well, these are the schools I applied to: CSUB, HSU, SFSU, and CSUF. I don't know any other schools near by to apply to. Maybe Stanislaus, Chico, Sacramento but all probably not. I don't want any private schools such as SMC or USF nor do I want ADN schools.

p.s. my twin sister goes to CSUEB. you'll probably see each other around ;-)
