Just wanted to let you know everything is working out. He left & 2 days later I got a part-time job! I've put in over 50 applications since he lost his job & nothing. He leaves & everything just started working out. Since he's gone, I also get full grants for school. I start classes August 26th! I can't wait!
Take one class. Even if it's an online class, take at least one. You don't have to do anything other than SOMETHING that makes progress towards your ultimate goal. It will help you mentally, I promise.
OK, things have changed again. Still no job, so I'm having to do what's necessary to survive. A nursing home in a neighboring town is going to give me any position they can find until their next CNA class starts. This does mean that pre-nursing will have to wait about a year. Right now I have to do what I need to so I can pay bills & move out.
Honey! What happened? Renew your CNA and get a job as a tech in the dialysis clinic. They make more - at least down here. You can't even take one class? E-mail me @ KitynRN@aol.com.
Hello! Just had to vent a little. Thanks to my husband, I don't get to go to pre-nursing this fall! Long story. I'm crushed. Going to recertify my CNA though as long as nothing else happens. Every time I try to do something for me, I get shot down.
Thanks - you're very sweet. I had jury duty this morning..I could have TOLD them they didn't want me, because my husband is a 16-year veteran of the agency that investigated and made the arrest in this case - plus we know the officers who were slated to be witnesses, and most of our friends are in law enforcement! LOL!
Our Fourth was very quiet - we live in the middle of the "insanity" so we made a grocery run the day before, and shut ourselves up in here. I couldn't even go out and watch the fireworks; they were so close, it sounded like thunder and all my fur-children were askeert..so we watched New York's display (breathtaking) with cats draped around my neck and in my lap! (Can you tell who rules the roost around here?)
Exam on Wednesday - peds anesthesia, anesthesia in obesity, antibiotics, malignant hyperthermia and chronic hypertension management during anesthesia. It shouldn't be too bad.
Have a GREAT WEEK! You can do this, one task, one chapter, one step at a time!
