Congrats on getting into SCC! It's a good program. I'll try to remember what 1st semester is like. As i recall, class was 2 days per week, but we were on campus at least 4 when you inlude labs. Half way into the semester you'll start clinicals, which is 2 days per week at first. Figure AT LEAST 3 days every week; some weeks will be 4 or 5. You'll get a schedule at the 1st class.

Most instructors are great. There were a couple I didn't care for, but I'm not sure telling you who they are would help. It may be better if you form your own opinion. Most classes are team taught, so even if you don't like one teacher, you usually will the other. Fundamentals was taught by Aromando and Hopkins. I LOVE Aromando! Hopkins is very nice but has some habits I find annoying. You also have pharm 1st semester, taught by Tremel. She uses unconventional approaches... which some like and some don't. Rely HEAVILY on her study guides; they're fantastic!
