Financing is tricky without a cosigner or decent credit. My credit is not great and even with my mom as a cosigner I got rejected for a loan (from Chase or Citi I think). I did get approved at Wells Fargo and Sallie Mae and went with Wells because the interest rate was lower. You should get $12,500 in federal loans, and if you can set aside anything while waiting for school to start (even if it just covers books) it's a help.

I really like the program and am doing well, but the fact that they offer no financial aid is hard. We got a packet the other day for a scholarship through the U Penn health system where we'd get tuition if we signed a 4 year contract with them to work either in the OR or cardiophysiology departments, but that didn't come until well after tuition is due. There's a payment plan to spread things out over 10 months, but those are still pretty big payments to be looking at.

    Good luck!
