Hey there. Congrats on being accepted to the residency program!! It is very, very challenging but I am learning so much. It is true what everyone says that nursing school does not prepare you to be an actual nurse, only to pass the NCLEX and be safe. It is very time consuming, alot of reading, alot of classes, alot of modules, but if you love critical care you will get the very best education out there. We started out with 6 residents and are now down to three. Not to scare you, but the educators are very tough and expect a great deal from you as a resident. However, if you want to the the best ICU nurse Piedmont is the place to go. How many residents will be starting in your group this fall?
