The med-surg tele floor isn't ideally for me. I don't hate it though. I would love to do L&D. I have 3 jobs right now. I am in med-surg,a patient advocate and HH. Out of all of them, I like patient advocate the best because honestly I am getting paid not to do anything. But I do want to become a NP or Midwife.
Once you finish clinical you will see a little bit more of where you want to work. Med surg is ok. Its not a walk in the park for sure. Its hard though with this economy the way it is, I swore never to work on a med surg floor but here i am.

The NICU clinical was one of the best, BTW. I really enjoyed it and I would also love to work there.

I am an RN. A new RN at that; I only been an RN since December.But I've working in the hospital system for 3 years and that allows me to be more blunt/open/etc since I've dealt with coworkers, docs, and patients.
