You stated that you were a PCA and I wanted to ask you about that. I live in West Palm Beach, FL and I'm planning to start this program at Palm Beach Comm. College. Is PCA the same as CNA? Thats what they told me. I want to go for Certified Nusring Assistant. Patient Care Assistant is a 3 1/2 month program, its going to cost me 696.00. After I complete this, I'd like to go for LPN. Though I feel just like you, I'm afraid I am not smart enough for LPN school. I was a bad test taker in HS. I didnt even get my HSD because I failed FCAT math. I had a 2.0 GPA. I did a retake in March 09 and passed with no prob. I want to go for it! I think you should stay in and keep going, just do extra study time. You also stated that you liked being PCA. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you make per hour- since I really what to do this I'm very curious. Did you work in a Hospital? Are you going to school for RN or something else? please if you time send me a message.
