Thanks...the situation is that there are two programs here in Houston. One requires Organic Chem and specific GRE scores, but is waaay cheaper in tuition. The other (Baylor) does not require Organic Chem and just 1000 on the GRE total instead of 500 on each side like UT does. I just want to increase my chances of getting into a program. A couple more questions... how much shadowing did you do/if any? And your current living situation...I worked my way up step by step to avoid student loans. I'm saving like crazy now and know I'm going to have to use something for living expenses. Could you tell me how your managing that aspect? Thank you so much for your advice Sarcolemma.

Well I have done 1-4 of your steps. I've been a nurse almost 8 years...3 1/2 in the ICU. I have ACLS and taking PALS next month. I just passed my CCRN last month and will be taking my GRE this summer. What did you score on the GRE? Did you take Organic Chem? I'm kinda worried about that class. Thanks!
