Let me know if you get this please-having trouble navigating. Check places like your local nursing journals. There are many educational services that offer IV cert. classes, just like they offer other inservices like CPR. Hospitals once did teach/certify nurses for IV's, but with budget issues, want to spend as least amount of time on orientation as possible and get nurses up and working on the floor as quickly as possible. The more exp. you walk in with, even things like an IV class, the better off you are.Let me know how things are going - I know it is not easy.Linda
