    Vermont? You'll be getting A LOT of snow. You are going to want an AWD vehicle if you can swing it, with a good clearance from the ground. Count on buying a set of studded snow tires and probably chains as well. It's going to be a bit of a shock to you if you've never driven in snow. Vermont should be beautiful. You have housing ready? Famly in Vermont? People like us generally don't move FROM Florida to the northeast.

    Hey, I live across the pond from VT - Lake Champlain - in upstate NY. Get yourself some good studded snow tires, don't tailgate, and learn to downshift instead of brake.

    You'll get it.
