I dont think that will affect you... as long as you solved it, i personally think that they care the most is that you have good grades... and u do. So, that shouldnt be a problem. What did u get on the test?

hey, I didn't get the book... I felt confident with my current knowledge (which turns out isn't all that much) I've taken chemistry and some anatomy so it helped a bit... those words suck!! but as long as you can remember some hopefully it helps... just read over what you can and don't stress, I was really relaxed when I took the test. If you get nervous, that's when mistakes are made. Once you start a section, like math you can go back and forth through out that section... but you are not allowed to go to another section, or even look... there is about 3 people walking around the whole time you're testing.. and there were about 30-35 people taking the test at the same time as I.... If you've been reading over you'll be ok.. you get a 5 min "bathroom" break between each test.. again they don't let you go back to questions you missed you can if you are currently in that section... but if you see that once you are finished you have missed questions just guess! they don't count against you they only count what you get right.. I just got my application today in the mail, and this is making super super super nervous.. I have all my transcripts ready like they asked.. but I'm worried about the criminal background questions.. I did something stupid, really stupid when I was 16 and I just found out that it was not expunged... I'm in the process of having it expunged but my app has to be turned in by Feb 13.. I'm so worried.....

    Hey Vane!!
Thanks for replying to me. Look Iam also going to Mercy at Miami for the LPN and i need to take the test on March 6th. I cant sleep every day iam reading the book that they sale at Mercy but i see it so F*^%$ing difficult, specially the english version, cause as u said who the hell uses those words hehehe.
Look I live in Miami close to Mercy. Iam soooooooo nervous i dont know what to study cause I also have the CD that came with the book but whatever I see there its like Chinese to me, and i dont know if its close to the test. Did u buy the book that they sale? How many people took it with you? How do you feel? when u take the test can you go to the next question and go back to the ones u dont know? any break? thats my concern cause if i dont know it, I would love to pass it and then at the end try to answer it. OMG im sorry im asking so many questions but u know how it is... ?????? I feel like crap.

hey... I took my test on Jan 19th @ the Miami hospital. (Don't know which Mercy you're going to?) I went in there thinking it was basic stuff like an SAT or HSAT... but it was SO DIFFICULT!! seriously, take everyone's advice and get the study guide! I've always been pretty good with school and test but I'm so nervous about my results! - I haven't gotten them yet! :*( I was a bit cocky thinking all I need was 95 questions right... out of 200, I figured any dummy can do it.. but then I saw the test and it was hard! there's 80 reading/vocabulary questions, 80 SCIENCE questions, and 60 math questions! and only exactly 60 mins to do each section... so you have to work SUPER FAST!!! I haven't gotten my results yet, I'm expecting to get them this coming week... I'll email you when I do, let you know how I did... I'm confident but I'm telling you its no joke! I took the pre entrance exam for Keiser university about the same amount of questions but it wasn't this hard... I don't know how you can study for science, but at least get the study guide and look over the vocabulary words.. that was so difficult because for sure they are words you've NEVER heard of... which sucks! bc what nurse do you know says words like that?? anyways... good luck! If you've taken anatomy/physiology and biology the science isn't too hard because it should just be a refresher... and the reading is easy. Math which I'm good at sucked!!! it was i have to say 80-85% fractions and decimals!! which I can't do without a calculator (which you can't use) - sorry I wrote a book but I know what it's like to be on the other side... and this is coming from a person who has a 3.9 gpa in college.. and I had straight a's and b's in high school and ALWAYS TOOK AP OR HONORS!! please email me any other concerns...

    Vanessa
