- Apr 30, 2009 04:41 AM - permalinkmaggiesdreamcan you give me some pointers on how to remember the infection control? I am taking my nclexpn next week and am still getting confused on these. What are some basics I can do for the next week on studying? Any info will be greatly appreciated.
- Mar 20, 2009 12:35 AM - permalinkjerzie0820you're a CA-BON passer, correct? then one of these days you'll be lucky and end up in CA or in any state. who knows?
at least you've surpassed the "hard part" and waiting is what's left for you to do.hehe.
so like u mentioned, u studied for a good 4 months. how many hours a day did u study? cos i've been doing a little reading already but i tend to get bored easily, so i stop at about a hundred questions a day. im planning to take the test early July but i have my ATT already (yipe). also, i've also been hearing a lot of buzz about that Exam Cram. where do i find that? is that of pearsonvue's? i see a lot of examcram books out there but im not sure which is the one u guys often mention.
lastly, you registered online for Kaplan's Qbank only, correct? and not the whole course? if im not mistaken the Qbank costs about a hundred plus bucks...? cos i really dont have a clue which online review would be best. thanks again
- Mar 16, 2009 11:47 PM - permalinkjerzie0820same with ragamuffin, i've seen your pm just recently but i couldnt reply to it. i actually wanted to run through it again but i couldnt as well=( anyway, thank you so much for the inspiring thoughts. i so wish i could read it again. is there anyway how? also, i came across your thread again, and i couldnt help but notice people said how prepared you are. i guess that did it for you
are u currently here in the US? how long did u review and how many hours a day? i know this isnt basis but i just wanted to know
thanks again! - Mar 13, 2009 07:24 PM - permalinkRagamuffinRNhey rex..i got your msg from here, it was sent directly to my inbox. but i guess my membership doesnt allow me to reply to it. haha so confusing. anyway, i got my BLS prior to the start of my nursing program (last 2007). i dont have my ACLS or PALS yet bc i havent started my orientation (im a new grad like you and i just passed the nclex last january). im guessing the hospital is going to pay for those. i dont have money (as i have been unemployed for a while bc of school) to pay for the classes. lol.
- Mar 09, 2009 11:38 PM - permalinkjerzie0820oh yeah. i am so happy for you! i read all your threads til page 6... i hoped to see how your test went and there it was..so congrats!
i still cant pm u because i haven't finished with the required 15 messages. i hope you could give me tips and all. im currently here in CA and dont have a schedule yet but i did get my ATT already. - Mar 09, 2009 11:15 PM - permalinkjerzie0820hello
i literally signed up just so i could post messages and ask for advices like you did

thank you. - But man am I scared, makes my stomach hurt just thinking about it, you know!
- Thank you so much, i know I will be needing all the good wishes I can get
- Just keep pushing forward even though your way seems blurry. ok? I don't understand what you mean by that! What is blurry, as an LPN I am able to get experience, so hopefully that helps with the RN program.
- congratulations, wishing you the best in all life endeavors! Go rex.jr_RN hopefully I can say the same next year, that is when I start the RN in program here in Florida, wish me luck! Congrats again!
