Hello. It sounds like classes for any of their programs are 1st year at St. Joseph in Rensselaer, In.... just as a traditional college...you might have lecture T/TH 8-9am and lab that afternoon, etc. I believe she said between 8-5pm. Then depending on what program you're in you will have certain days of clinicals. All clinicals start within the first 6 weeks of class. If you have all your science classes completed and can get the remainder of the nursing classes in one semester ..they allow that and then you just move on the 2nd semester to St. Elizabeth...so that would just be one semester at St. Joseph campus.
They are about half full of accepted students....they usually take 70-90 students so if you're not accepted you want to get that process going soon. I think they want to try to have everyone in by the end of March. Then they will be sending out a letter in April about registering for your classes and I think that's June timeframe. There will also be a St. Joseph info day around this timeframe where you'll also order your uniforms...
It was really stressed to fill out your FASFA ASAP even if you don't think you will qualify ..you never know they said.
www.fafsa.ed.gov to apply. 006257 us the code for St. E...don't use St. Joseph's code. They have many financial aid programs and it sounds like they are VERY helpful in helping you.
ANY financial aid questions call... Martin Case at 765.423.6400 and other questions, call Stephanie Koerner at the same number...I believe she answers usually. I know I've talked to her a few times asking questions about transferrable classes, etc...she's VERY helpful. You can also email both of them..their emails are on the
www.steson.org . Hope that helps.
