Thanks alot for all of your advice. I am new to allnurses.com and didn't see your message until now. I actually just applied to the PICU at Children's yesterday. I REALLY want the job. For a new grad, I think I have a lot of good experience and I had a prof and clinical instructor review my resume/cover letter. After you applied, did you wait for them to call you or did you have to call them a few times? Nurse recruitment never seems to pick up the phone. I guess all I can do now is wait and see what happens.Thanks again!Shawna
