Yes moving sux, but you will be happy when you get here, especially in the summertime. Cedars is a great hospital...they treat their employees really well and the pay rocks. When you get settled in, PM me and I'll tell you about some of the off beat hot spots here in town. One of my favs is drag queen bingo night at Hamburger Mary's. lol Hope to meet you too, someday. Good luck.

Hi Ragamuffin, Thanks for your response. I'm starting on the 23rd. I just met hyacinthe. I am from Burbank here in the Valley. Where are you from? Sound like your looking for an apt? I am going to be in float pool at cedars. Many of my classmates and a few of my instuctors work there already.

Hi there! well in all honesty Koreatown is not one of my favorite places. It is a hectic and chaotic area most of the time but i realized apartments there are way cheaper. I was even looking for some in that area. What happened to Culver city? So are you rooming with your friend? The apartments i like are very expensive but if driving to work is a problem, then i will have to move closer. By the way what is the major street close to Wilton? Is it Beverly, 3rd st, Olympic,or whilsire? What's the name of the apartment? there are tons in that area.

hi hyacinthe! oh that's a bummer! you have to do those again? hmmm. i just got the packet yesterday, im going to get the drug test on monday. I found an apartment at S. Wilton, near koreatown. Is that a bad area? we were looking for apartment early morning last friday and by the end of the day, the traffic got really terrible! What time does traffic clear up? like 8 pm, right? lol. i hope so. Oh btw, my friend also got into the New grad program, she's going to start on the 23rd, same as you =) her name is jina!

Hi Kim, are you talking about the drug screen test packet? I got those already and actually had to do another test yesterday because they told me my urine was too dilute on the first test! wow! i do remember drinking plenty of water before the test, but i usually drink lots of water. Anyway, i also got the packets for the benefits and all that. Did you get an apartment yet?

Hi Kim! Nice to meet you here. I was at the job fair for probably over an hour. It went by pretty fast. I know a couple of my classmates who works there. Cedars has a very good reputation. Anyway, Culver city is nice depending where you live. I used to hang out there a lot. Wilshire can be tricky since you are talking about a major st that goes all the way to downtown LA and all the way to Santa Monica Beach but if you are talking about Mid Wilshire, that area can be very chaotic. Are you moving with family or byyourself? By the way my name is Hyacinth and i will let you know how my orientation goes....r u night or day shift? i chose nights since i'm used to it but they did not guarantee it. Later then.
