Thanks for the info. I visited Rio Grande Regional but really did not like it. I really liked Valley Regional, so that's where I'll be. I'm not worried about being bored in Brownsville, cuz I really don't go out much. I move next week! Thanks again.

Just joined this forum so i can't send pm yet until 15 posts.
Sorry, I don't know any good apartment at brownsville. Yes, you do need a car in the valley, there is limited to rare public transportation. If you choose to buy a car, go to a major dealership because it will save you the hassle of any problems in the long run if something bad happens to your car. I would avoid small mom and pop car dealerships. Before comnmitting going to brownsville, I would really suggest to look at Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg (don't worry, Edinburg and McAllen are neighboring cities but it feels like its not), or the Rio Grande Regional, or the Heart Hospital. Believe me that all the hospitals are hiring! All these hospitals in the valley are short in nursing staffs. Just contact Human Resources for those hospitals. I would suggest to move in McAllen instead, more things to do just in case you might get bored

    p.s.
If you DO plan to move in McAllen, there is this new luxury apt. on McColl Rd. and Camelia ave. owned by DOMIT apts (you can google DOMIT for more inquiries) that I think you might reallllyyyy like. Not a lot of people now about this apts. yet, and its nestled in major restaurants and businesses like chilis and barnes & noble. (10th and Nolana)
