Hi Demi... I thought it was pretty difficult. The admissions lady told me that there were over 900 applications for Fall of 2008, and they only accepted 160. Letters should be coming out pretty soon though... has yours come???Amanda
Hello again.I am sorry that you are on the wait list, but don't give up hope because you never know some people who have been accepted may not end up going, which opens spots for you! Is UC the first college you have gone to? If so, I have a good friend who went through UC's 4 year program and she said it has really prepared her. How long have you been at UC? It all really depends on what kind of degree you want to get out of it. With UC you will have a bachelor's degree and will be able to move up higher as a nurse. With an ADN you can only go far and will eventually have to go back to school for your Bachelor's. So, really you need to figure out what works best for you. I have had people telling me that for a while now so i am too torn on which route to go! but i already have a bachelor's degree in another field, but would do UC's accelerated program.don't give up hope!
somewhat. I applied to Christ and Good Sam, and I have gotten my conditional acceptance letter to start in the fall of 2010, which is quite a bummer and is more than a year from now. So i probably will not be going there. I should be hearing back from Christ in the next few weeks. HOWEVER, i just went to an info session for UC's accelerated pathway program and LOVED it. SO i am thinking about applying for that even if i get into christ... which i am not sure yet if i got in and would make my decision easier, but it seems like such a good fit! what about you?
