Sorry, I apologize for not answering back.....I did not apply to Hopfer, however I did attend one of their open house sessions. It was very informative (sorry cannot remember the detail). If you call the school they can probably tell you when they will have their open houses. They use the NET as their entrance test. I will start Putnam Westchester Boces in Sept. I wish you all the best in whichever routes you choose.

Hi there! Was wondering if you applied to Dorothea Hopfer after all or if you chose to go some place else?

Thank you for responding. I dont have that book but i will ask for it.. I guess im a little scared because i know that we dont get blood transfusions but when that topic comes up i want to be able to explain the reason why. I was raised in the truth and know the basics of our beliefs but it has not been until recently that i've decided to come back and actually learn reasons that follow our beliefs.THanks again for the info you have provided, i will look ino that.

I noticed in one of your replies you said you were a Jehovah's Witness. I am currently studying the bible and am going into the LPN program. I wanted to know what is the best way to go about explaining the whole "blood transfusion" as far as why we do not do that, because at some point i am sure this is going to come up in school. Any info you can give me from experience would greatly be appreciated.

    Thank You
    Damaris
