Conversation Between Purple_Scrubs and diosa78

Hi there, I just saw on a thread that you were a new grad when you started school nursing. I am about to embark on the same journey and am looking for advice. I have little hospital experience (only 3 months in an ICU), but the district was confident I would be able to handle the position even though I still don't have too much confidence just yet. Do you have any recommendations as far as continuing education and/or textbooks/references that helped you? What about PALS? Do you think it would be beneficial for me to do it now or to wait a little while? Thank you in advance for any advice you can give this newbie!
