Congrats! As long as you passed the HESI and you have the prereqs you are in, all you have to do is sign the enrollment paperwork. I hope I see you at school too! I am starting the BSN program April 6th. If you ever have any questions about the school, let me know.

Don't worry about the word problems, they are pretty cut and dry. Just write down the values they give you and you will be able to figure it out. Just don't rush, they give you more than enough time. They give you 4 hours and I was done in less than 2. The worst part about the HESI is the length. Just try not to stress, don't rush, and you should do great!

Yeah, I called Denver school of Nursing, but they guy I talked to was really rude, it kinda left a bad taste in my mouth...but I still am considering it incase I don't get into Concorde. I'm having to delay taking my test since I have a family emergency going on....but keep me posted if you get a call from Concorde.

Hi, all. I was looking really hard into Concorde's LPN/RN programs but then the economy went into the toilet, my savings lost a lot and my husband told me, "Look, if you really don't like the work after you finish the classes, we'll still owe lots of money for Concorde's tuition." That being said, if I were younger I'd STILL go for it. When I was looking into it, the RN program started in July only and the LPN program started every 2 or 3 months. I haven't thought about all this for a while and now you guys have got me thinking about it all over again. You'll get your NET score right away and have a very good idea of your odds of getting in.

I haven't heard anything about that. I go in to take my NET February 6th, so I will definately ask them. Did they tell you when you will be accepted? That would suck if they moved it to July...that would mean we would graduate December/January....but on the flip side, at least for me I could save a few extra $$$. I'll see what I can find out. Oh!, the other thing I meant to ask you was, do you know what the passing rate is for Concorde (not the NCLEX), just passing the classes...I've heard some horror stories.

Good deal. I am going to start on the reading portion tonight. Do they give you 3 hours? Are you able to go back and look at your answers, or was it like the Wonderlic Test? If you get in are you planning on working at all? This will be all new to me. Changing careers and all, but really excited. Just hope I can get in. Let me know if you get in too!
