    It was heartbraking to read your post. To see that even an experienced nurse is having "some difficulty" in finding work. I just graduated yesterday, May 10, 2009. I have 20+ years experience in an allied health profession, another 4 year degree, that I may have to return to. There are full time jobs in my other profession here in town. I have worked at these places before. But, now that I have "arrived" at getting my nursing degree, new graduates are placed in the back burner. I still consider my self fortunate in comparision to the majority of my classmates especially since I have other options. The nurse recruiters tell me that the June 15 new graduate slots are filled and the next slots (if any??) are for the October 15, 2009 hires.
