- i answered 1 month. :-) if they will approve your application, you may extend your stay up to 6 months.
- are you currently working? another thing, you need to get a certification of an "approved leave" from your current employer so that the canadian embassy will be satisfied that you'll come back after you visa expires. in my situation, i wasn't given that certification by my emplyer because they said it's for personal purposes only, i might not go back.
- I've sent the SEC and CARNA letter together with the other requirements to the canadian embassy. i also sent them a "Letter of Invitation" from my relative in canada. unfortunately, i was denied. have you been to canada before? if you had, your application will be approved easily. if you have been to other foreign countries, i think there's a chance because they will look at your travel history in your passport. your parents must also have a show money for about 500,ooo pesos. i think it is much better if your relatives will sponsor you.
- I was not interviewed by the canadian embassy. i just passed all the requirements for a tourist visa. I think it's much better if your relatives will be the one to sponsor you rather than you'll be the one to apply directly.
- thank you, hopefully i can make it ...whatever their decision for my SEC assessment I know it's for my own good and of course for the safety of my future patients

- Hi Kirka,I'm also a Filipino RN who will undergo a complete SEC this March. Ask ko lang when are you planning to take your SEC or do you have a schedule already? thanks
- hi kirka. I'm thinking of applying at SRNA because it is much easier. no SEC assessment... I have a friend who is willing to help me find an employer in Saskatchewan. In the meantime, I'm complying with the SRNA requirements... it's just the same with CARNA and CRNBC. It's just that I have to do it all over again.:-) But I am not losing hope. :-) You better try Saskatchewan too.:-) You'll immediately be a graduate nurse when you get there as what my friend said to me.:-)
- hi kirka. i'm also applying at CRNBC and CARNA all at the same time. I was denied in getting a tourist visa because the canadian embassy was not convinced that I would come to the Philippines after my visa expires.
- hi kreeket yes i am planning to go to canada BC, but i didnt received yet any letter from crnbc. i called them already they said they all got my documents. because on my online updates it states "not reviewed" i guess my profile online is not updated. so if you are in doubt just call them.
are you from the philippines too?
