Hi FutureRNAngel.

I took Micro in the summer and then applied. The letter I received said it was about a 2 year wait list so I figured I wouldn't get in this year. But then I got a letter inviting me to take the LVN-RN transition course! I was surprised because the first letter said I was #35 on the waitlist and that they only accept about 12 students every year in the fall depending on how many drop out of the regular program. But I guess there are so many on several wait lists that they are letting me in this year because I know several who are going to Grossmont instead. They started in February already and will graduate in December. They don't need to go to City's program, but I do. Grossmont didn't accept me because I applied too late in the year. I didn't apply until after Micro finished and that was in August. But even at City I don't really know if I will get in. The letter said that they made the final decision on May 23rd on the last day of class. That is when they can tell us who got in the program.

Hope this helps.
