Hi!
i am a 44 year old CNA who currently works in a skilled nursing and rehab unit. i have plans of becoming an RN due to the fact that even though i love what i am currently doing now, which is restorative care, i hate not having the ability or the authorization to defend the rights of our patients due to sneaky manipulating lazy nurse who fail to properly supervize the other CNA"s.I have been told that i needed to lower my standards of care in order to not deflect the poor care received from my co-workers. I love my patients and will continue to provide and give 110% of myself no matter who likes it or not. i have been married to the same man for 26 years, and have a daughter 23, and a son 19. i have dedicated my whole life to them all and now that they are grown i now have the opportunity to fulfill my dream.
