I didn't really remember much about exactly where in Tacoma I grew up b/c it wasn't the best part of town so my mom didn't like to have us explore the neighborhood very much lol. But we always went to the Tacoma mall, the Point Defiance park and zoo, this nice old private university which had a park attached to it and alot of other places too. Christmas time was the best down there cause people really prided themselves on having absolutely amazing C. lights - whole streets covered with the most colorful lights from top to bottom sometimes! Its not like that up here in Bellevue unfortunately. Is it still like that down in Tacoma? Hey do they still have the carousel for kids in the Tacoma mall? I loved that. I haven't been down there since I was little but someday I gonna visit for sure! What is TCC like? BCC prides itself on being the second hardest college in WA (oh goody - not!) and their nursing program is quite competitive (I suppose they all are), but I've managed to make a few friends. Hi! I grew up in Tacoma (love it - hate Seattle lol), but now I live in Bellevue w/ my family. I go to Bellevue Community college. I really like Bellevue alot, but Tacoma will always be my true home. Bellevue has grown into a beautiful city but its a little snobby sometimes. Did you go see the Zoolites at the Point Defiance Zoo this year? I used to love going to see them. We've had mounds and mounds of snow over here but its starting to clear up now. Its always so fun to find people from my home state on here! I wish you a Happy New Year!
