Everything is going well. Slide show is a tear jerker. Many good photos of Mike and some of the two of us with many pics of AK. Music adds another layer of tears. I love it.
Family is gathering and the smell of turkey was strong all day yesterday. Today we have the rest of family on their way. Church looks great and all three kids have written things to say.
No down sides that I have found yet.

I am sure it will be a wonderful service. I am so glad I had these weeks to prepare for it. I don't know how people do a couple of day funeral. I really needed time to process before today.

I am so sorry for you loss. I know it must be very difficult for you especially around the holidays. I have been checking in periodically to see how he was doing and then when I saw the post that you DH had passed away my heart sank. I will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers.
