Hi, I read your comment about the d/c oasis. I am new to hh and have been asked to do d/c and transfers on pt's I've never seen. I am an rn and my agency schedules reg visits to the lpn's. When I stated that I was not comfortable with this, i was told " you can just ask the therapist or the lpn what is going on". If that's the case then I feel that the therapist should do the oasis, not me. Can you tell me how to get a copy or review cms rules, I visited the website but couldn't find what I was looking for. Do you know if this is an actual rule or law or just a suggestion by cms? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
