i know that cyber space can be deceiving, but you sound amazing!!
the diet sounds 'reasonable' but again, use common sense and think of what your body has been through...
and proceed w/caution.
listen to what your gut (haha...leslie made a funny) is telling you.

Hey Leslie,

I'm still at the hospital. Probably will be discharged today. There was an incident while I was in OR. The nurse assisting my surgeon loaded the stable gun incorrectly and it accidently put an extra hole in my new pouch so I had to go to a swallow study to make sure there wasn't any leaks so they let me have clears. And I have JP drain which will probably come out today. I'm surprised that my diet will be advanced pretty fast, I'll be on clears and my protein supplements for two days then full liquids 3-4 days then puree until I see the surgeon for my follow up.

i'm glad your mom will be with you.
even if you feel like crap after the surgery, do NOT get discouraged.
i shall continue thinking of you, and know i am with you in heart and spirit, ALOT!!

I do have a laptop but I might not bring it with me. I will only be in the hospital for two days. My mom is going to be with me and we are going to pack our stuff into one bag so no room for a computer. But I will update everyone when I get home from the hospital. I just want the surgery to be over. I've still not begun. I have a whole new life after tomorrow.

do you have a laptop you can bring w/you???

Hey Leslie, how are you? Just letting you know my big day is tomorrow. I have to be at the hospital at 11:30am and my surgery is not until 1:30pm.
