Thanks for all the answers to my many questions. Thanks stinks about Dr. Apatov but at least he's still there. I would love to hear how your clinicals are going. Types of cases, what you get to actually do, do you compete much with the residents? Also have they mentioned anything about how many cases you should have by the end of the program and do you get much experience with traumas and the heart cases? Thanks again for everything and look forward to being in the program! I interviewed at other programs and was accepted but I think this will be the best school for me.
One more question I do have is about the simulation lab. I know we got a tour about it but it wasn't really open yet I guess. How are the students getting access to it and what all do they learn in it so far. I'm kindof worried that Miami doesn't have much of a sim lab compared to other schools.
And why did Dr. Apatov back down or was he asked to step down. Thanks for all your help and good luck with the semester.
Thanks alot for answering my message. I'd love to know how your first semester went and how you feel the school is preparing you. Also I see alot of different schools make you take a chem course of some type and anatomy/phys but miami doesn't seem to have much on that or at least from what I've seen it doesn't. Also so you said the director changed, did Dr. Apatov leave the program or...? Thanks for any info you have for me. Really I'd just like to know how the whole experience is going for you there and what you think about it.
