I also love Sac City's instructors, they are AWESOME!! Can't say that as much for the Sutter program, everything you hear is brutally honest. And you can't imagine how horrible it really is unless you go through it. Nursing school is tough regardless, but just keep the goal in mind and you can do it! My best advice is keep on top of the objectives they give you, and the reading. You will study like you never have before NCLEX books I have realized help IMMENSELY on the tests by teaching you critical thinking. So far, I have the Saunders NCLEX book, and a Med Surg Success book. Email me if you want to know more! Mine is redalert7777@yahoo.com. Best of luck to you!

I'm SO sorry, I don't get on here too often, and see that I have 2 messages from you! AND I can't figure out how the heck to PM! If you want to send me your email, I would be more than happy to tell you any hints or tips I might know! I know there is no new PT program in the works for now through Sac City. The program is paid for by a grant program through SETA. If people are seriously interested in PT programs, I would contact Sac City and SETA (Melanie Klinkamon) to express interest, so they know people want it. It's hard right now, due to the state of the economy, and the fact that although there is a nursing shortage nationally, Sacramento is actually meeting our shortage to where jobs are scarce for new grads! I know Sierra College has had PT programs, and some portions of it online. I don't know the ages of your kids, but I LOVE the PT program for that reason. Mine is 2, and I seriously don't know how people go to nursing school FT!!
