I'm having the mods close my thread. I talked with a co-worker about it. She said I did nothing wrong and the CRNA shouldn't have been giving orders for lidocaine since the resident had already taken over. She also agrees with my rationale that the central line is probably a little bit too far in. Thanks for your feedback.
