Yes moving sux, but you will be happy when you get here, especially in the summertime. Cedars is a great hospital...they treat their employees really well and the pay rocks. When you get settled in, PM me and I'll tell you about some of the off beat hot spots here in town. One of my favs is drag queen bingo night at Hamburger Mary's. lol Hope to meet you too, someday. awww, i guess i was wrong. haha. im going to start on the 30th. i already got an apartment, but i wont be moving until next week. at least youre in LA already, im still here in vegas. moving sucks =/

hi lsvalliant...my membership wont let me send private msg! anyway, you're talking about the med surg new grad program? the guy who interviewed me said that we were going to be rotated on different med surg units (since the hospital has 8, i think? im not sure how many). During those rotations, we are going to have different preceptors (one new preceptor on every unit). we are going to follow the preceptor's schedule (so if he/she is night, we're going to be nights, and same with day shift people). so im guessing, we're not really going to have a regular schedule until the orientation part is over.
