it is tragedies such as this, that bonds people together.
i understand (very much) your ambivalence about getting a new puppy.
it was only 1 week after zach was put down, that we definitely decided to get another member for our family.
truth be told, it was almost immediately that ed, josh and i, were toying with the idea.
of course we all know that no one can ever replace our loved ones, but it is a very therapeutic distraction.
we experienced so many mixed feelings when stuey came to us.
it was very bittersweet.
but we feel zach's presence, more than ever and to this day, remains very involved in our blooming relationship with stu.
and zach could not have done a better job in picking out stu.
he definitely had his 'paw' in this.
it/we just all fit together perfectly...
which leads me even further in believing that God had His perfect hand in this as well.
oops...i'm rambling.
(but secretly, i do hope you guys get one of those pups)
and name 'her', lucy.
i'm thinking of the song "lucy in the sky with diamonds", although i 'see' marlow having his paw in it too.
and, he loves lucy also.
